Fish Tanks

A few points to look at to find the correct location for a fish tank - they are not easily moved once established!

Points to remember:
Site the fish tank away from radiators in the winter they could effect water temperature and have a devastating effect.

Not too near a window as well as the light from the fish tank you will receive extra light from outside which could result in excess algae growth.

Conservatories tend to be unsuitable for fish tanks as they dramatically vary in temperature.

If you want to put the fish tank upstairs check the weight of the whole tank including water can be safely supported by the floor beams. Make sure you put the tank across the beams to spread the weight more evenly.
